Document imaging sample email to vendor

Please have a sales rep contact me about your document imaging system. I am currently in the process of evaluating such a system for our organization. Here is some basic information about our needs to give to the sales rep to help guide our discussion. I am interest in how your system works and getting a rough estimate of the price.

500 pages a day will be added to the system.

We plan to scan all of our old records. We have 48 file cabinet drawers and 100 letter size boxes.

We only have one location and three departments need to access these documents.

There will be a total of 25 people that will need to search and retrieve these records.

We have a windows operating system.

We have an in-house IT department and only need onsite help if it is required for your system.

We will be using this system in our AP department and the documents are unstructured ranging in size from letter size to 8x6 size.

We will only retrieve the documents from the network and do not require Internet access.
